State Level Competitions 2011-12

Mumbai Science teachers’ Association is announcing the following state level competitions during year 2011-12.

1) Programmed Instruction Writing Competition For Teachers:

Topic: A Concept in Science from Std. VIII To X.

2) Essay Writing Competition for Students: Senior Group

Topic :Green Chemistry.

3) Essay Writing Competition for Students: Junior Group

Topic: kitchen Chemistry.

4) Poem Writing Competition for students: Senior Group

Topic: Learning Sciences: Pleasure Or Pain

5) Poem Writing Competition for students: Junior Group

Topic: My Favorite Scientist

6) Poster Making Competition for students: Senior Group

Topic: Atomic Energy: Constructive or Destructive?

7) Poster Making Competition for students: Junior Group

Topic: My Dream Laboratory.

Note:

1. No entry fee.
2. Three prizes for each competition in each group.
   Prize-Rs 300, II Prize-Rs 200, III Prize Rs 100 and three consolation prizes.
   All prize winners will get a certificate.
3. Medium-English and Marathi
4. Each school can send maximum of three entries per competition for each group.(No limit for teachers’competition.)
5. Junior group-Std. V to VII and senior group-Std VII to X
6. Competition material should reach the office from 15th October 2011 to 30th October 2011.
7. Result and details of the prize distribution function will be declared in the first week of December 2011 on the website www.msta.in.
8. The prize winning articles may be published by the organization with due credit to the participant.
9. Paper to be used for all competitions: A4 size.
10. Word limit for essays: 500 to 600
11. Lines for poem- 8 to 16.
12. Each entry should have the following information of the Competition Entry Form on the last page or reverse of the competition material.
    

    

13. All competition material of each school should be sent along with the following school entry form.
